Proposed changes to Constitution
A Business meeting will be held after the AM church service on 2nd July 2017 to agree the adoption of changes to the Constitution.
As a result of new legislation and regulations implemented in recent years the Church’s Constitution needed to be changed. The existing constitution states that any alterations to the constitution have to be agreed by 2/3rds of members at a meeting called for the purpose provided that the suggested alterations have previously been discussed at a meeting called for the purpose.
Over the last 3 years Members have been consulted at many business meetings and legal advice has also been obtained. This resulted in a proposed final version of the Constitution being discussed and accepted at the AGM on 12 June2017.
Annual Accounts for the year 2016/2017.
The meeting will also be asked to agree that the new clause 17d would be adopted for the Annual Accounts for the financial year ended 31 March 2017.
Clause 17d states: The Annual Accounts shall be independently examined in accordance with the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006.

Got any ideas? We are looking for some input into our thinking about Outreach Activites, especially during the Autumn. If you have had a light bulb moment as to what we might do please see the Pastor ASAP.
We are currently putting the programme in place for next year's House Groups (Monday and Tuesday). If you have any suggestions for what we might study please speak to the Pastor.
Monday 26th June
The next monthly prayer meeting will be held on Monday 26th June in the Muir's house, 45 Eagle Crescent. There will be no midweek meetings after that till August
Saturday 29th July
Following the success of our previous litter pickup at the end of April, and the positive feedback we received from members of the local community, we have agreed to have a litter picking walk on Saturday 29th July.
The plan is to start at 10 am at the car park in Courthill (in front of the former Six Bells pub), spend a couple of hours picking up litter, ending up at the Manse for lunch afterwards. Please wear sensible footwear (boots or wellies if you're happy to go into the burn) and bring a pair of gardening gloves. Litter pickers and rubbish bags will be provided.
There will be no Sunday evening prayer times during July. They will re-start in August.
